Aldehyde-based, Ready-to-use Disinfectant For Medical Instruments And Endoscopes
MPC Glutara 2% Disinfectant is glutaraldehyde-containing, ready-to-use disinfectant for medical instruments and endoscopes. Areas of Application: GLUTARA 2% DISINFECTANT is especially for the disinfection of endoscopes, for instruments from MIC-surgery as well as for thermostable and thermolabile materials. GLUTARA 2% DISINFECTANT can be used for medical equipments, MIC surgical equipments, endoscopes, anesthesia materials, heatproof and non-heatproof materials in instrument disinfection baths, ultrasonic washing machines.
Instructions for Use: Suitable protective clothing should be applied before use. Before application of GLUTARA 2% DISINFECTANT the medical instruments and disinfecting baths must be cleaned thoroughly with a suitable enzymatic detergent and distilled water to remove impurities and, if necessary, instruments should be disassembled. For manual
application, fill GLUTARA 2% DISINFECTANT in a disinfecting bath, disassemble instruments and place them into the solution. Make sure that all surfaces and cavities are completely covered. Close the lid of the disinfecting bath, wait for at least 20 min (when used against spores: 1 hours), remove instruments out of the solution, rinse them with water thoroughly and dry them. Mix with powder activator than shake and use.
Microbiological Activity: Bactericidal, Fungicidal, Virucidal, Sporocidal.
Composition: Active Ingredients: 2% Glutaraldehyde.
Other Ingredients: Deionised water, nonionic cleaners, anti corrosive substance, coloring.
Warnings/Precautions: Its ready to use. Don’t dilute. DANGER! Wear suitable protective clothing. Contains glutaral. May produce an allergic reaction. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. IF ON SKIN: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. Causes serious eye damage. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. IF INHALED: If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If medical advice is required, keep package or label available. Only keep in the original container, tightly closed, at a cool, well ventilated place and out of reach of children.. Durable 3 years. Less than 30°C. Consume open package within 6 weeks. Read the instructions for use before application.
